How can self-employed generate revenue?
Offer freelancing services.
If you are looking for a way to make money, I am a firm believer that freelance services are a great way to do it. Personally, I make money from freelance writing, web design, consulting, and social media management. I know it works and you can make a lot of money for your time whether full or part-time.
Since starting freelancing just over a year ago, I’ve had the opportunity to work with nearly a dozen high-growth startups and world-class professionals. And I’ve never had to negotiate the premium I charge for content marketing services, which is why I wanted to share with you some tips on how to start a freelance job and how to make money from it, even if you’re an absolute beginner again.
Our process is simple:
1. Choose your NICHE. 2. Register your DOMAIN. 3. Build your WEBSITE. 4. Master KEYWORD RESEARCH. 5. Create quality CONTENT. 6. Use Affiliate links and ads to MONETIZE.
Create a product or service.
Develop your USP (Unique Selling Proposition). The first step in marketing is to find the phrases you consistently use to tell people what you do. Don’t use just one category to describe your services, always say your business name followed by a specific, memorable phrase that sets you apart and conveys the key value you provide.
Even if you don’t have any products to offer initially, it’s a good idea to think about how what you offer now can turn into a product later. One of the best parts of being self-employed is that you can continue to expand and improve your services and products over time.
Sell or promote your product or service. Affiliate Marketing
